Our first ever "blog" post!

​Hi there! Welcome to our new website! We see you have found our blog page. While we’re not necessarily big “bloggers” around here, we do think we are pretty creative cooks. Which gave us the idea of having a space to share recipes with all the wonderful humans who love the food we grow. 

​Here you’ll find a variety of different recipes that we think are worthy of sharing. Whether it’s a dinner, snack, dessert, breakfast, dehydrating, cider, or canning recipe… we are trying them all! We’re inspired by the food we grow, and very interested in living a self-sustaining lifestyle. 
Posts on this blog will be from the two lady Nicholson farmers, Michelle and Anna. Michelle manages the tree fruit operation alongside her husband Danny, and Anna manages the gardens and fruit stand. For a few years now, these sisters-in-law have been sharing recipes with each other. Their focus is clean, healthy eating but with one little difference. Michelle practices a vegan diet, and Anna loves hunting, meat, and dairy products. 
So, no matter what diet you practice (and no judgement here!) we believe we will have something for you. Our goal is to post at least one recipe a week that uses whatever is currently available at the fruit stand. We may or may not include a little note about what’s going down on the farm, and we may post multiple times a week. We’re learning as we go and excited to share another one of our passions with you!
