What is a CSA? It stands for community supported agriculture. A CSA gives a consumer the opportunity to buy shares of a farm's harvest in advance, and in return receive fresh produce either weekly or biweekly throughout the season. It's a great way to support your local farmer, ensure you get super fresh fruits and veggies, eat what's in season, experiment with new varieties, and save some money! Buying in these shares also gives the farmer money in advance to start their season or help with whatever needed at the time.
