Step back in time and experience the nostalgic joy of making your own fresh cider! During your 45-minute session, we’ll walk you through washing apples, operating the press, and loading the hopper to release that golden, farm-fresh cider.
What’s Included
- Enough apples for 4 pressing rotations (50+ pounds yielding 1.5-2 gallons)
- A mix of sweet and tart apple varieties — with the option to blend in pears!
- Two containers for your cider (but HIGHLY encouraged to bring your own containers. Clean jugs, milk cartons, growlers, or large mason jars).

Want to press more? Additional apples are just $0.50 per pound, weighed as you go. There’s no limit — press as much as you like within your time slot!
Payment will be finalized at the end of your session.
Know Before You Go
- Group size: Up to 6 people per session
- Duration: Most groups finish in 25–30 minutes, but your slot is reserved for 45 minutes
- Location: Behind Nicholson’s Fruit Stand in Peshastin, WA
- Park at the fruit stand and come inside to check in
- For GPS, enter “Campbell Road, Peshastin” we’re 2 miles up Highway 97, right on the corner of Campbell Road
- Weather: The pressing area will be tented if raining. Dress warmly and wear waterproof shoes or boots. Gloves are recommended.
- Physical Activity: This is a hand-crank press, a bit of muscle required!
- Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time; there’s only a 15-minute cleaning window between sessions. Late arrivals may lose pressing time.

- Fresh cider keeps about 10 days in the fridge.
- Freeze it to enjoy all winter long.
- Or, try fermenting it at home for your own small-batch hard cider!
